Busybody Fitness & Rehab provides comprehensive, personalized physical therapy, fitness, & wellness to the Houston, the Houston Galleria, Houston Heights, and surrounding areas. Since 2013 we have been Houston's physical therapists of choice, offering rehabilitation in a warm, welcoming, boutique style environment. 

At Busybody we have fellowship trained physical therapists. You will work with a physical therapist who is highly trained in your conditions such as knee & hip pain, spine care, hand & wrist care, foot & ankle care, shoulder pain, post-surgical rehab, and Dry Needling. At Busybody physical therapy we have helped many find relief from chronic pain and return to their active lifestyle. 

Meet Dr. CeCe Cook

Dr. Cook is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy in the state of Texas with many years of proven experience in the Skilled Nursing, Outpatient, and Home Health rehabilitation settings.

 

A proud native of Atlanta, GA. Dr. Cook graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise/Kinesiology. While a student, she was actively involved in Resident Life/Student Affairs, and student development. Some of her proudest accomplishments during her tenure at MSU include becoming a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and being apart of MSU’s cheer and dance team.

 

Dr. Cook went on to attain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, FL. She specialized in sports and manual therapy and has been able to apply her skills greatly in the fitness arena. 

She is also a Certified Senior Strength Trainer and professional member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association.

 

In June of 2013, Dr. Cook, started, Busybody Fitness & Rehab, PLLC, as her skills and expertise were in high demand by clients in private gyms in Houston, TX. Dr. Cook has corporate clients such as Lincoln Property Company, coordinating and teaching fitness classes for residents living within its apartment communities. Dr. Cook has worked closely with the Mental Health & Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County through providing in-services and educating the staff on safety measures and proper mechanics.

 

While fitness is her passion, Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation is her foundation. Dr. Cook uses Busybody Fitness & Rehab as a platform for wellness, rehabilitation, and fitness in both the geriatric and pediatrics populations.

Meet Dr. Corey Harris

Dr. Corey Harris, PT, DPT, Cert. DN, CKTP

Dr. Corey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, GA). He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (St. Augustine, FL.) where he graduated with honors and recieved special recognition as the "Outstanding Physical Therapy Student."

 

Since graduating, Corey has gained experience in multiple practice settings to include: outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, acute care, and home health. His areas of interest range from geriatrics, sports, manual therapy, and taping, to balance training, soft tissue mobilization, and performance.
